Cafe Mogador - Moroccan Benedict Dec 6th 2015

THE WELCOMING
When we arrived at Cafe Mogador at 133 Wythe in Williamsburg Brooklyn, the host who is a good friend's girlfriend, sat us fairly quickly despite the sunday brunch rush!

Seated in the middle of the beautiful garden, our amazing waitress DeeDee (IG@thelastdee) welcomed us in immediately and quickly brought two cute cups of fresh squeezed orange juice.

THE LOOKS
We looked at the brunch menu and out of the 5 benedict options we chose the Moroccan which elegantly and deliciously partitions the egg and english muffin with spicy tomato shaksuka-like sauce.

THE EXTRAS
Accompanied with our beautiful brunch was an americano, cappuccino, tea, or espresso of your choice, as well as mixed green salad and home roasted potatoes.

IS IT REALLY A BENNY?
With the many variations of the classic egg benny, we embrace new creative exciting versions such as this Moroccan. Is it really a benny? It has poached eggs, and a muffin, and hollandaise sauce, but no bacon. With three of the four of our classic standards, we will give this beautiful benny a pass.

BROOKLYN BENEDICT RATING
We give the Cafe Mogador's Moroccan Benny four out of four eggs! This transcendent one of a kind experience that sets the local standard.
